At Battle Ground Academy, we believe in recognizing the graduates and faculty members who have made a lasting impact on our school and beyond. Through our Alumni Hall of Fame, Distinguished Young Alumni Award, and Faculty Hall of Fame, we honor those whose lives reflect BGA’s enduring values of character, scholarship, and excellence.
These awards celebrate individuals who have achieved professional success, served their communities, and demonstrated outstanding integrity and leadership. Nominations are open year-round, and new inductees are honored during Homecoming & Reunion Weekend in odd-numbered years.
Meet Our 2025 Honorees
Celebrating those who exemplify character, scholarship, and excellence.
Alumni Hall of Fame
Established in 1996, the BGA Alumni Hall of Fame honors alumni who have distinguished themselves through professional achievements, civic leadership, and contributions to the broader world. These alumni exemplify the best of what it means to be a Wildcat.
Criteria:
- Demonstrated outstanding achievement in their career.
- Been recognized for their leadership.
- Shown support for and recognized the impact that BGA has had on their life.
Sports Hall of Fame
Established during BGA’s Centennial Celebration, the BGA Sports Hall of Fame honors alumni, coaches, and other members of the BGA community whose athletic achievements, leadership, and contributions have made a lasting impact on the school’s athletic tradition. Inductees include those who distinguished themselves at BGA and those who went on to earn regional or national recognition beyond their time as Wildcats.
Criteria:
- The athlete must have graduated or attended BGA at least ten years prior to the date of consideration.
- Former coaches must have coached at BGA for a minimum of five years.
- Both athletes and coaches must have contributed in a positive manner to the overall program of the school.
- Both athletes and coaches may also be honored for gaining regional and/or national recognition subsequent to their participation at BGA.
Faculty Hall of Fame
BGA considers all former faculty and staff part of its alumni family, and those who have shaped generations of students through wisdom, dedication, and care are honored through the Faculty Hall of Fame.
Criteria:
- The award is given to former BGA faculty or administrative staff members who have had an exemplary career in the pursuit of academic excellence and the development of students who exhibit character, scholarship, and excellence.
- Recognition is for personal dedication to growth and achievement as well as the ability to motivate students to succeed in their academic careers and subsequently in their professional career.
- Recipients must have been full time at BGA for a minimum number of 5 years.
Distinguished Young Alumni Award
This award celebrates graduates who are 35 or younger and have already begun to make their mark in meaningful and inspiring ways. Whether through innovation, service, or leadership, these recipients represent the next generation of excellence.
Criteria:
- Graduated from BGA within the last 15 years
- Demonstrated outstanding achievement and potential for leadership in their chosen profession and/or community service.
- Shown support for and recognized the impact that BGA has had on their life.
