Character. Scholarship. Excellence.
Classes in the Visual Arts are available to students in every grade. On the Glen Echo campus (Middle and Upper Schools), all classes are held in the Mary Campbell Visual Arts Center, which includes individual studio space for seniors with four years of Upper School art classes. The curriculum includes an AP track for honors level students. The Middle and Upper Schools host annual student art shows on campus and student artwork is routinely entered into regional and national competitions.

After school opportunities exist in each division for students who want to pursue their interests and passions beyond the normal classroom experience.
My background at BGA changed my life and prepared me for more than the classes and expectations of SCAD. The BGA Arts Department taught me confidence, to love my dream and the courage to pursue it.
