Annual Fund Concludes June 30: How Can You Make a Difference?

Alumni, parents, grandparents, friends of the School and others make a difference in the lives of BGA students every day.
Whether it is attending a school play, buying tickets to the annual Fish Fry, cheering for our student-athletes from the bleachers, volunteering time to help on campus, or organizing a class reunion...your support makes a difference and we thank you for all you do for our students.
There is another way you can make a difference in the lives of our students: donating to our Annual Fund. By giving to the Annual Fund, you are guaranteeing that current students experience the best BGA has to offer. All the things we love about BGA--the small classes, dedicated faculty, unique learning opportunities, arts, athletics--are supported by gifts to our Annual Fund.
Please show your support for BGA by making a gift today.
John Griffith
Head of School

BGA Represented in 2012 All Mid-State Baseball Team

Coach of the Year
Brad Myers
Battle Ground Academy
Why chosen: Myers led Battle Ground Academy (27-12) to its first baseball state title with a 5-3 win over Memphis University School in the Division II-AA championship. BGA tied Baylor for the Division II-AA East/Middle Region title before going 3-0 at the state tournament. The Wildcats hit .345, averaging 7.2 runs.
Quote: “I think our strength was being a team, without a doubt. Everybody was pulling the same way, and nobody cared who got the credit. And when you've got a group of guys doing that, you’re on to something pretty special because that doesn't happen too often.”
All Mid-State First Team
Michael Smith
Battle Ground Academy, Senior
Why chosen: The Walters State signee hit .467 with 23 RBIs, seven triples and 38 stolen bases.
All Mid-State Second Team

Attention Parents: Help Us Update Our Database!

BGA is in the process of updating our current parent database. Included with each student's end-of-year grades, parents should have received a profile sheet listing current contact information.  If you have not already, please verify the address, phone numbers, email addresses and indicate any necessary changes, updates, or deletions. Please sign and date the form and return it to any divisional office at your earliest convenience.
This information will be used to create the 2012-2013 school directory, which families will receive during registration in August.  If we do not receive an updated form, we will assume the information in the database is correct.
Should your family have an unexpected change over the summer or after your form has been turned in, please call the school at 615-794-3501 and provide the updated information over the phone.
Thank you!
