Items Needed for Silent Auction
Please consider supporting BGA's Silent Auction (set for April 4th) by donating gift certificates, merchandise, services or experiences (tickets, vacation homes, tours, unique and special opportunities). In exchange, you will receive excellent community exposure and advertising. If you are an individual member or your company cannot donate an item, please consider calling a few places, family, or friends to see if they would be willing to make a tax-deductible donation to our BGA Silent Auction. Contact Jean Marie Grumbles with questions or donations at JM@JMGrumbles.com or call/text (615) 587-5847.
Junior Achievement Seeking Parent Volunteers
Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. We will begin our Junior Achievement program this semester. We are still in need of several parent volunteers to teach a class. The commitment is short, consisting of a brief training and five lessons that you will teach to the students. These lessons are provided for you along with all the materials needed. If you are interested in teaching a class, please contact Charlotte Scholl at 567-2007 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Spring Break Ski Trip
I am beginning to plan a snow skiing trip for Spring Break, and I want to know if any BGA students are interested in going. We will travel to Snowshoe, West Virginia on Sunday, March 23 for 2 days of snow skiing and return on Wednesday, March 26.
Snowshoe Mountain has all levels of skiing terrain from beginner slopes to steep expert runs. Skiing and snowboard lessons are available for beginners.
The cost is $400, which covers everything: lodging, lift tickets (2 days), equipment rental (2 days), breakfasts and dinners, and transportation! The only things to bring are ski clothes and money for lunches on the mountain.
If your son or daughter is interested, please email me, Mr. Klausner at email@example.com
. If there is enough interest and snow on the mountain, we will ski.
Thank you. Kris Klausner
