BGA will be closed March 16 through March 24 for spring break.  Classes will resume and offices will reopen Monday, March 25.

Six Seniors Sign National Letters of Intent

Battle Ground Academy hosted a collegiate signing ceremony on Wednesday, December 19 at the school’s Glen Echo campus with six student athletes signing National Letters of Intent to continue their athletic careers in college.
 
“BGA has a great tradition of having its student-athletes continuing to play and excel at the next level,” said BGA Director of Athletics Fred Eaves. “We are proud of these kids and what they’ve accomplished on the fields and courts and in the classroom. We know they will represent BGA well as they continue their athletic careers in college.”
 
Chico Bennett, Jr. - Football – Georgia Institute of Technology
2017 – All Region, All State, 2nd Team All Mid-State
2018 – All Region

Jaylen Frierson – Football – East Tennessee State University
2017 – Team Captain

Kyah Keller – Softball – Clemson University
2016-2018 – All District, All District Tournament Team, All Region
Note: Keller also was on the All District Tournament team in basketball in 2018.

Kenny Rawls –  Football – University of North Alabama
2018 – All Region

Tiy Reed – Football – Georgetown University
2017 – All Region, Team Captain
2018 – All Region, Regional Athlete of the Year, Team Captain
Note: Reed also excelled in wrestling with multiple top five finishes in the Region and State Tournaments.

Taylor Tigue – Volleyball – Walters State Community College
2018 – All District First Team, All District Tournament team
Note: Tigue finished her career with 1,133 assists.
