Additional Information
Character. Scholarship. Excellence.
"BGA introduced me to the idea of living a full and rewarding life." -- BGA Alumnus, Class of 1993
It is often said you can recognize a Battle Ground Academy student when you meet one. There is the ability to engage in thoughtful conversation, to enjoy the process of learning as much as the result, to make eye contact, and to embrace the spirit of service.

Our goal at BGA is to provide an inspiring and nurturing environment to further the academic and character development of each student.  We seek to enroll students who demonstrate social, emotional, and intellectual attributes that will set them up for success and allow them to thrive at BGA and in the communities in which they live. We also look for unique interests and personalities that will add to the collective character of our school community.

Character, Scholarship and Excellence are more than just words on our official seal. They are the pillars of the learning experience at BGA that guide both teaching and learning at all grade levels.
Since 1889, families have entrusted Battle Ground Academy with preparing their sons and daughters for college and beyond. We invite you to learn more about us and to see firsthand how BGA can help your child become the best person they can be.
