Complete an Online Application
. For first round consideration, Lower School applications are due December 15, 2016. The due date for Middle and Upper School applications is January 31, 2017.Step 4
: Schedule your testing and shadowing days.
Testing for Grades K-4:
Applicants for Lower School are required to take an assessment test. Testing is done at the Lower School during the weekdays and takes approximately an hour to an hour and a half. To schedule testing, please contact Elizabeth Spitzer
, Associate Director of Admissions, at (615) 567-2018. Please note, we are unable to hold a testing spot for your child without a signed application and $50 application fee.
Testing for Grades 5-12:
Applicants for Middle and Upper School are required to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). BGA administers the ISEE on campus periodically. If you are applying to BGA and would like to take the test on campus, please call us for an invitation code to register. If you are taking the ISEE at another school, BGA's school code is 430700. allow your student to participate in a classroom discussion, play at recess, and meet our inspiring faculty, helping to equip your family to make what could be one of the most important academic decision of your child's life. Likewise, this visit day is a critical piece in helping a student feel comfortable with becoming a part of a new school community. During the visit, prospective students will spend the day on campus, paired with a current student who will introduce them to students and teachers, take them to lunch and recess, and help the student feel comfortable and welcome, a trademark of BGA. If you know a BGA student you would like to shadow, let us know and we will arrange that for you.
