Project R12 Named Institution of Emphasis for 2019-20

For the 2019-20 Institution of Emphasis, BGA has announced its partnership with Project R12, a non-profit organization founded by Tara Hodgson Moseley '05, and her husband, Clint Moseley.  Project R12 works in Uganda with local leaders to build top tier schools, provide access to clean water, create vocational opportunities for women, and create homes for at-risk children.  This initiative has continued to grow and is now recognized by the Uganda government as one of the top schools in the country.

BGA's first initiative with Project R12 is a Love Shirt Campaign to raise money to build the first school in the Namiremebe village in Uganda. This campaign is exciting but simple:  60 days to sell 1000 shirts. And 1000 sold shirts builds the next school.

This Friday, during the Wildcat Welcome and BGA’s first home football game, Project R12 will have an information booth where shirts can be pre-ordered (available in adult and youth sizes). The community is invited to stop by to learn more about Project R12, pre-order a Love Looks Good shirt, and discuss BGA's upcoming plans to support Project R12.   For more information about Project R12, go to

Tara Moseley has been selected as BGA's 2019 Distinguished Young Alum and will be honored at this year’s Homecoming and Hall of Fame Luncheon September 27-28.
