Students Bake & Sell Dog Treats to Support Ms. Cheap's Penny Drive
Over the holiday break, BGA students were busy finding ways to support one of our community's favorite philanthropic ventures: Ms. Cheap's Penny Drive. Sixth graders Mia and Zoe Hawkersmith baked dog treats, selling them door-to-door in their neighborhood, and raising $450. This translates into 1,800 meals provided by Second Harvest Food Bank. Way to go, Mia and Zoe!
