STEM Students Design Carnival Ride Models

As part of the Fabrication and Design Methods course in the BGA Makerspace, Upper School students designed their own carnival ride models this semester.
The project factored in not only the look of the ride but the mechanics of it, with students aiming to design a ride that moved on its own for a long time. The stipulations included that the ride had to feature at least six different materials and a ball bearing.
This is just one of several models that Upper School students design when taking part in a STEM course inside our Makerspace.
