Battle Ground Academy’s Upper School Drama Department will be presenting
“Museum” by Tina Howe at the school’s Sondra Morris and Robert N. Moore, Jr. ‘52 Center for Arts andEntrepreneurship. Performances are set for Oct. 5 and Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 8 at 2 p.m.
“It was a really fun show to work on because most of the actors play multiple characters, and it's
exciting to see them rise to the challenge of creating a variety of characters, each different from the
other,” said Jenny Wallace, BGA’s Upper School Drama Director. “We had a great time putting it
together, and we hope audiences will enjoy it.”
The cast includes Walker Kesler, Will Locke, Will Reddien, Grace Rook, Charlotte Gould, Emmanuelle Barker, Regina Trevino, Charlotte Slater, Anna Pile, Detlef Gerbing, Kayla Bartlett, Tim Gould, Deidrick Gerbing, Albi Barnes, Sadie Thomas, Mac Mayberry, Carter Harris, Hays Craig, Audrey Priddy, Abe Elston, Sophie Oram, Kairi Martin, Sammy Tarkington, Olivia Whitley, Lucy Bruff and Colton Kephart.
"Museum" takes place on the final day of a group show of three fictional contemporary American
artists being exhibited in a major museum of modern art. Over the course of the day, some 40
people walk through the show: art lovers, skeptics, foreigners, students, lost souls, fellow artists,
and of course, museum guards. "Museum" is a play about communication, art and its meaning, and the modern intellectual. It is a wry, funny, smart, fast-paced show that is a joy to see or to perform.
