BGA Announces First Quarter Mary Campbell Easel Award Winners

The Visual Arts Department is proud to announce the Mary Campbell Easel Award recipients for the first quarter of the 2025-26 school year.

Lucy Bruff ’26 was selected as the Upper School honoree for her mixed-media piece "Looking Up," which explores the influence of sibling relationships on personal identity and development. A senior at BGA, Lucy has been part of the community since the second grade and currently studies in AP Drawing.

Ella Marshall (Grade 8) was recognized with the Junior Mary Campbell Easel Award for her charcoal and watercolor piece "Charcoal Candles." Inspired by the interplay of light and reflection, Ella’s work captures the beauty of shadows and luminosity. She has been a BGA student since sixth grade and is also a member of the Middle School Choir.

Established to honor Mary Campbell’s memory and her love of art, the Mary Campbell Easel Awards recognize Middle and Upper School students whose work exemplifies creativity, craftsmanship, and quality. Each selected piece is displayed for the following quarter in the Mary Campbell Visual Arts Center.

Congratulations to Lucy and Ella on this outstanding recognition of their artistry and dedication.
