Ambassador Charles Ray Shares International Career Experience with Upper School Students
On January 23, Upper School student leadership groups and Global Studies students had the privilege of engaging with Ambassador Charles Ray, who shared insights from his remarkable 30-year career in the US Foreign Service.
 
His journey took him to China, Thailand, Sierra Leone, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Zimbabwe, contributing to global diplomacy. Notably, Ambassador Ray served as deputy assistant secretary of defense for POW/Missing Personnel Affairs and director of the Defense POW/Missing Personnel Office from 2006 to 2009, showcasing his commitment to important international issues.
 
This session allowed students to learn from Ambassador Charles Ray's wealth of experience and ask thought-provoking questions about global affairs.
