Student Support

Academic Support

We believe all BGA students can be successful, and our on-campus learning centers work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals as needed, to help students reach their academic potential.

Our learning centers provide students with the support necessary to ensure their needs are being met in the classroom and provide enrichment when those needs exceed a challenging college preparatory program.

Our BGA Student Support Includes:

  • Academic coaching (before, during, after the school day)
  • Instructional coaching (before, during, after the school day)
  • Support for differentiation (for teachers)
  • Coordination of services (for students)
  • Consultation (for parents and students)

Counseling & Social Emotional Support

BGA’s Counseling Department offers support and programs that enhance the overall health and wellness of our students and families through a focus on social and emotional learning. A school counselor is available to meet with students and parents throughout the school day.

Students may seek to meet with the counselor on their own, or they may be referred to the counselor by a teacher or faculty member. The counselor may offer short-term, one-on-one guidance or may refer students to another professional outside of school. It is the goal of BGA’s counselors to provide a safe, confidential place for students and families, in addition to providing educational programs and wellness resources.
