  • Q: Where do most of your students live?

    BGA is a regional school with students coming from seven counties. The majority of BGA students reside in Williamson County. A number of students also reside in Maury and Davidson Counties. Franklin, Tennessee and the surrounding area is one of the fastest-growing and most popular small towns for exceptional quality of life. This makes our location a wonderful choice for families who love the southern way of life with all the perks of a progressive city.
  • Q: What types of sports programs do you offer?

    BGA offers TSSAA-sanctioned sports including cross country, wrestling, baseball, golf, basketball, softball, football, track, volleyball, tennis, soccer, bowling, cheerleading and swimming.
  • Q: What about the arts?

    A full array of musical, visual and theatrical arts programs are provided to BGA students, including acting, art, band, choir, painting, photography, pottery, sculpture, self-portrait and speech. Several AP and Honors classes are also offered.
  • Q: Do you have a bus service?

    Transportation is available at an additional cost via bus service from the Maury and Davidson County areas. The service from Maury County includes a stop in Spring Hill. There are morning routes to BGA from Davidson County and the Westhaven Subdivision in Williamson County.  The Davidson County route originates in Green Hills and includes a stop in Brentwood.
  • Q: What options are there for my child(ren) after school before they are old enough for sports teams and other extracurriculars?

    For Lower and Middle School students, Extended Care is available after school for families who need help bridging the gap between dismissal and pick up.  Additionally, Lower School students may participate in the Explore Program during the year as an after-school alternative which adds to the student's academic enrichment.  Visit the Lower School Extended Care and Explore Program page for additional information.
  • Q: How does BGA view equity and inclusion?

    Equity and inclusion are important initiatives at BGA. Racial, social, religious and economic diversity are all important. Currently, 18 percent of BGA students are students of color and of different faith traditions. Twenty percent of BGA students receive some sort of financial aid. Our inclusion committee sponsors ongoing events throughout the school year (during and after school) to honor and celebrate inclusion in our educational community.
