Junior Dalia Diab Receives Third Quarter Mary Campbell Easel Award
BGA is pleased to honor junior Dalia Diab with the Mary Campbell Easel Award for the third quarter. Dalia has been a dedicated visual art student throughout her tenure at BGA and has recently come into her own sense of artistic style, finding a new interest in water-soluble oil paints. She is currently an Honors Art student and building the foundation of her AP Studio Art Portfolio for her senior year. Dalia’s impressive skills, artistic curiosity, and dedicated work ethic will open doors to many successes ahead on her artistic journey at BGA and beyond.

About the Mary Campbell Easel Award: Along with the gift of the Mary Campbell Visual Arts Center, Battle Ground Academy’s art department was also fortunate to receive several pieces of furniture and equipment from Mary Campbell’s studio. One of these was her easel. To honor Mary’s memory, it was decided that every quarter, the Visual Arts teachers would review the work of current students and choose a piece of art they feel exemplifies the qualities BGA students strive to achieve: creativity, effort, and quality. The chosen piece receives the Mary Campbell Easel Award and is displayed for the duration of the next quarter.
