BGA Students’ Artwork Wins Awards
Artwork by Julia Evans ‘27, Sam Wright ‘26, Charlotte Slater, ‘26, Emma Creecy ‘21, and Mary Katherine Walt ‘21 won awards at this year’s Middle Tennessee Regional Student Art Exhibition.
 
Julia Evans: 3rd Place, 6th Grade
Sam Wright: 2nd Place, 7th Grade
Charlotte Slater: 1st Place, 7th Grade
Emma Creecy: Best of Show in Ceramics for “Butterfly Vase,” Honorable Mention for “Boot Sculpture”
Mary Katherine Walt: 2nd Place for “Drowning,” 12th grade

The 13th Annual Middle Tennessee Regional Student Art Exhibition is a professionally juried exhibition, showcasing exceptional middle and high school student artwork from around the region. Lipscomb University hosted this year's competition in their School of Art & Design's John C. Hutcheson Gallery.

The competition is open to students, grades 6-12, attending public, private, or home schools in the counties of Middle Tennessee. Artwork is accepted in the following categories: Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, Mixed Media, Ceramics, Sculpture, Computer Graphics, Photography and Video/DVD Production.
