Girls Basketball
Lipscomb Academy
Tuesday, December 1
The Wildcats take a tough loss to Lipscomb Academy 33-52. The result was not favored, but our Wildcats played tough through the buzzer. Senior captain Kearstyn Seay led the Wildcats with 16 points on the night. Junior Graci Semptimphelter tallied 11 points. The Wildcats will continue their season on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. against Franklin Christian School.

Franklin Christian Academy
Saturday, December 5
BGA varsity girls played Franklin Christian at home on Saturday, winning 69-59. The Wildcats were led in scoring by senior Kearstyn Seay with 16 points, with junior Graci Semptimphelter and sophomore Lindsey Summerall scoring 14 each. The Wildcats will take on Columbia Academy (away) on Tuesday evening.

Lipscomb Academy
Tuesday, December 1 
The Wildcats dropped their second contest of the season to Lipscomb Academy 81-59.  They were led in scoring by junior Braden Iverson with 18 points, followed by junior Sean Williams putting in 15 points. Senior Alex Krause added another 12 points and 5 rebounds, and senior Jackson Brown added 2 assists to the effort.

Grace Christian Academy
Friday, December 4
The Wildcats lost a close one at home Friday night. They were led in scoring by junior Sean Williams who had 18 points and had 5 steals. Sophomore Cole Matthews added another 11 to the Wildcat effort. Senior Alex Krause had a strong night scoring 7 points, pulling in 5 rebounds, and dishing out 5 assists. Senior Xavier Shaw also had a good night defensively with 5 steals.  It was a strong effort to open district play.

Franklin Christian Academy
Saturday, December 5
The Wildcats lost in a shootout Saturday afternoon. Junior Sean Williams had 27 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 steals, and sophomore Cole Matthews added 12 points, while junior Braden Iverson added 6 steals and senior Xavier Shaw passed out 4 assists. The Wildcats forced a season high 35 turnovers, but came up just a little short against Franklin Christian.

Hockey
Hendersonville
Monday, November 30
The BGA/Franklin/Hume-Fogg hockey team fought hard in a battle against Hendersonville but lost 6-5.  Freshman Quinn Lohse scored a goal in the first period, and juniors Carter Cranford and Thomas Kiely each provided assists on other goals.  

Ravenwood 
Friday, December 4
The BGA/Franklin/Hume-Fogg hockey team topped Ravenwood 3-1.  Junior Thomas Kiely provided an assist on a third period goal. The team is looking forward to taking this momentum into a busy upcoming week with 3 games on the schedule.
